Hello, I'm new here, sorry for the beginner question:
I created an API token following the instructions on https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-api-tokens-for-your-atlassian-account/
If I understand the instructions correctly, I should change my confluence-user/password to <email of the Atlassian account>/<my api token> in curl. However, when I do this, the call no longer works:
curl -u <my confluenc user>:<my pw> -v "<URI of our REST API>/content/..." works well, the same call with email/token does not. Any hints?
And, why use this API token at all when Confluence-User/PW works well?
