Setting default schemes

As a best practice, I do not edit the existing schemes, but I create a copy and then edit that one. But now I want to make sure that this updated copy is the default scheme for all newly created projects from now on. I want to do this for:

- Issue Type scheme

- Workflow scheme

- Screen/Field schemes

Could anyone please assist me in setting these default values?

Hi Emilie,

Since JIRA does not allow any non-default scheme to be switched as default, I am afraid that you need to manually copy/"transfer" the configurations over to the default ones.
