How to add new label to an issue in a Project

I'm aware how to create a label (go to issues - In the right side in Details tab type the Label you want to create in the Label field). This is what I did but when I'm trying to see that from a particular project none of those fields in Details column are enabled whereas its enabled and I'm able to see the list of labels/suggestions from other projects.

Are there any settings as an admin I have to check or change so that I'll be able to add/see the newly created label in that particular project?

If you're unable to add or see labels in a particular Jira project, but can in others, the issue likely stems from project configurations or permissions. Here's a simplified approach to troubleshoot:

Check Project Permissions: Ensure your role has the Edit Issues permission in the affected project. Adjust this in Project settings > Permissions.

Field Configuration: Verify the Labels field is included and not set to read-only in the field configuration for the issue type. This is found in Project settings > Fields.

Screen Configuration: Ensure the Labels field is present on the relevant screens for the issue operation (like Edit/View). Adjust this in Project settings > Screens.

Browser or Cache Issues: Try accessing Jira in a different browser or clear your browser's cache to rule out display problems.
