Could it be that the Priority field was updated by Jira release to include additional values?

Question

I've noticed that the Priority field included additional values that as far as I recall were not included, We had only P1-P4 and now I see also Highest, High, Medium, Low. Just want to make sure it was done by Jira upgrade and not someone from my company. I want to delete them.
