Link leaves/vacations from a confluence calendar to Jira

I'm currently setting up a new project. I've already set the non-working dates to take into account when scheduling issues.

Is there a way for Jira to also take into account leaves/OOO that were set in our confluence calendar? Or any other calendar for that matter.

This might involve fetching leave/OOO information from a Confluence calendar and then adjusting the issue schedules in Jira based on that data.

Explore Atlassian Marketplace for plugins that might offer tighter integration between Jira and external calendars. Some apps are designed to enhance project management capabilities, including syncing with external calendars or importing specific date-based data into Jira:

• Team Calendars for Confluence: If you're using Team Calendars for Confluence, you can link it with Jira to some extent by displaying Jira issues on your Confluence calendar. However, the reverse (reflecting Confluence calendar events directly in Jira scheduling) typically requires additional customization or a bridging app.
• Calendar Sync Apps: Look for apps that specifically mention the capability to sync with external calendars (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) and see if they can be adapted for use with Confluence calendars or if they support direct Confluence integration.
