How to remove the HTML tags from the Jira issue descriptions? kindly suggest me the solution, thanks

My issue descriptions are with html tags which users are not happy after the migration to Jira cloud.

I tried changing the render to wiki for the description field and it doesn't appear to resolve the issue, thanks!

Hi Ravitheja,

This is a bug in Jira where you can't edit the description for a custom field once you add one. You will need to update the description for the custom field in the Field Configuration used by the project.
