Welcome to Atlassian community @Bibek Patro !
Instead having the save draft now there is the "Close draft" option that automatically saves your page as a draft without publishing:
The result:
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You have said you are using Confluence Cloud, but you have been reading documentation for Server/Data-center.
Confluence Cloud does not have a "save draft" option, as it auto-saves.
@Nikola Perisic
Obviously, the downside of this Confluence feature is that you can't work with your drafted content in the view mode (extremely important when drafting product documentation and doing extensive content changes).
Sorry, a pet peeve of mine
@Kristian Klima
Yeah...maybe we can make a new request?
@Nikola Perisic Let's go for it! Two rising stars might be difficult to ignore
Here's the draft, how do you suggest we procede?
I want to be able to toggle between the saved draft and the published version of a page in the View mode.
Draft is saved - and can be displayed in the Edit mode, thus it should not be complicated to display it.
but i dont see any of the option like close draft or save draft while im done editing a page
@Bibek Patro If you click Save Draft/Close button (next to blue Publish/Update button) your draft will be saved but the latest changes will not be displayed in the View mode.
