Different between serviceDeskId and portalId?

Hi,

I have been actively working with the Jira Service Management (JSM) REST API and have encountered a scenario that has sparked some questions. Specifically, when querying the endpoint

https://<your-site>.atlassian.net/rest/servicedeskapi/servicedesk/serviceDeskID/requesttype

I observed in the API Response that both serviceDeskId and portalId appear to contain similar values in the API response. This has prompted me to seek clarification on the potential distinctions between these two identifiers and whether they serve unique purposes in the context of the JSM REST API.

Is serviceDeskId and portalId the same?

To whoever stumble on this later, you need to know that sometimes, the serviceDeskId is not equal to portalId. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-18432
