How do I generate a report on the content of my Jira Dashboards?

I have been asked to deliver an executive report on all of our Jira Dashboards. Executives would like to a report to describe things like:

* Dashboard Name
* Dashboard Link
* Dashboard Summary
* Its purpose
* Its data and content

I haven't found a way to accomplish this without manually creating and then subsequently maintaining such a report. Does anyone have any ideas?

Most of this you could get via the Dashboards API, but getting the data and content would make it hard, since the API that gets the gadget will not give you the underlying filter.
