That is the issue.  You need to align them.

(1) Default Instance Timezone

To check/change the default timezone in your Jira instance, you'll need to be a Jira Admin and then...

* Go to Settings (cog icon in top-right corner) > System
* Choose General Configuration from the left-hand menu
* Press the Edit Settings button in the top-right corner
* Ensure the Default Time Zone is set correctly - if not, change it and update it

Just remember that if you have users globally, this is the default time zone - so choose a timezone which the majority of users operate in!

(2) Personal Settings

To change your personal timezone settings...

* Go to Settings (cog icon in top-right corner) > Atlassian Account Settings
* Select Account Preferences from the left-hand menu
* Check your Time Zone - if it's incorrect, change it

Hi. Thanks for your response, clearly not. Users and approvers are in Uruguay (GMT-3), cloud instance is in USA?

Brant Schroeder · Answer

@Alejandra Martin does the cloud instance timezone match the approvers timezone?
