Board - Search field loses focus

Question

When searching in for an issue in the board with the search field the search field looses focus after some time and jumps to the board by selecting a matching issue.

This is very inconvenient as you might be typing when the search field looses focus and then get unexpected behavior.

It seems to happen only when you have selected (and opened) an issue before.

Anyone experience the same behavior or have a solution for that?

Just chiming in to say I'm having this issue as well in Chrome on Mac. I think it's been happening since late last year. All those keyboard shortcuts are a double-edge sword, triggering all sorts of potentially destructive behaviour should the search field lose focus.

- does happen in all browsers (tested with Safari and Chrome on Mac, EDGE on Windows)

- happens also in Incognito Mode

Yes, I see it now. From my side it is working as intended. I added a label for Atlassian folks to see about this as well. Because this seems like a bug.

Also, more questions:

* Which browser are you using?
* Is this happening in the incognito mode as well?
