Move tickets from one queue to other

Question

We have queues -Q1,Q2,Q3

We have all tickets/issues in Open. We want to move issues from Q1 to Q2 to Q3 which are basically different teams within Same project for example like L1 for Q1, L2 for Q2 and L3 for Q3.

We have Infra Desk where L1 team will look into all cases and move to DB team - L2 team for Database related and similar Network -L2 Team etc

i'm looking for L1 is mapped to Q1 and issue is moved to DB Team - L2 (which is Q2)

Pls suggest how this can be achieved in JIRA

So you need to have a value that separates the issues and that you can specify in the queue filter.

You could simply use components or labels for this, or create a custom field where the value can be set.

Hi Ravi,

When you say "queue" do you mean a column on a board? Or do you mean an actual Queue used by JSM?

If it is an actual Queue, the Queue is based on a JQL statement. You would need to change the value of a field for ticket/issue so it meets the criteria of the JQL used by each Queue.
