RAID log management in Jira

Question

Hi team,

I am looking to implement RAID management in Jira. A better way than capturing it in a text box. Could you please help me with how best I can implement it? so that I can also generate reports and call out high risks, dependencies, etc. I was also curious about if I can use Atlas to achieve the same.

Hi @Diatta Harris ,a separate board can work, but it is not essential if the goal is a usable RAID register plus risk reporting.

Disclosure: I work on FastRisk, Risk Matrix & RAID Log for Jira. It keeps Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies as ordinary Jira issues, then provides a grouped RAID register and a likelihood × impact risk matrix. That means the score remains usable in Jira search/JQL and dashboards, rather than living in a separate spreadsheet or board.

For the reporting part, FastRisk includes a dashboard gadget for top risks and risk-band totals, and you can scope it with JQL across one or several projects. It is aimed at lightweight project/PMO risk tracking rather than regulated compliance workflows.

Yes a board that would capture the different risk statuses.

The other option is to use Plugins.  There are many out there in the marketplace.
