Disable a user with admin rights

Hello, I have a special case, and I wanted to see if I could get your help.

There's a user who created the portal and has org and site admin permissions. This person no longer works with us, and we need to revoke their access. However, no one, even those with site admin privileges, can do it. Is there any way to disable this user?

Before you disable the user you have to remove them from site admin. You can do that by going to admin.atlassian.com and then under Settings > Administrators you can remove the user from that list. Once that is done you should be able to disable the user.
