Feature Database: can information in page properties macro be included in databases?

Question

just read the announcement of the new feature to creat databases in confluence.

I would like to manage data of 200 plus confluence pages stored in page properties macros on each page across the space. Can I include those data into such a database?

And further: can database conntent also be exported to excel oder as csv-files?

Monika Griffin · Answer

We have not started to test the new feature databases yet and is unclear for us, what the use of the new feature will be other than what page properties macro does.

What I really need is the possibillies to manage efficiently metadata for page in excel oder a connected database.

Hello @Monika Griffin . I see you got an answer about exporting content. Were you able to create a Confluence database managing data of 200 plus confluence pages stored in page properties macros?

Aron Gombas _Midori_ · Answer

Database can be exported to 3 formats, including CSV!
