Jira Dashboards

Question

Hi,

I am looking to create a dashboard, which shows status based on teams not projects.

I have 10 projects where 4 projects belongs to API and 2 projects cloud and 4 projects Server, so i want to show the dashboard in below format.

API - 14 pass - 6 -todo

Cloud- 4 pass 6 -to do

server- 10 pass 4- todo

So instead of showing project names is there  away to show custom names?

i tried with components or labels but for each projects the components are showing duplicate. for example if i create API component in each project and pull the data from API component then the data is showing like

API - 14 pass - 6 todo

API - 4 pass 6- to do.

is there a way to show all API in one row?

Hi @ram.vadde,

You ca do this by using the Advanced Issue Filter Formula gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.

All you have to do is to create some filters that return the issues for each team and to configure the gadget to calculate the COUNT for each of these filters.

I would

* run a search for all your issues
* save it as a filter
* add a 2-dimensional filter statistic gadget to your dashboard, configured * to use your filter
* x-axis set to status
* y-axis set to component

This will however, not work.  Components belong to projects, each of them is going to give you a separate line, even if they have the same name in different projects.

You can make it work if you moved your components into a select or multi-select field that your projects shared.  That would work much like a component field, but because the options are shared, you would only get one line per value.
