User picker field on Jira Form is not honoring the Jira custom field configuration - Default Value

Hi All,

I've updated a User Picker custom field Context > Default Value but it only works when the ticket is being created from the portal, I could see the default value but no default value is showing in Forms.
I would just like to confirm if this is a Jira limitation at the moment.

I found below pages but it is about the filter.
