Allow customers to view projectboard

Hey there,

I've created a business project with our Jira environment. A Kanban style board tracking various smallers projects. Is it possible to allow colleage's that have a 'portal only customer account' view acces to this project? 

Jira allows me to select these accounts in project settings > access > add people and send them an invite (with role viewer). But it doesn't actually add them to the user list. Furthermore, the link they recieve simply lands them to our default serviceportal.

I don't believe what you want to do is possible.

For a person to have non-portal access to Jira they must have a Jira license, which customer general do not have.

You would have to add those users to the Jira Software product access group (or the Jira Work Management product access group if you installed JWM without JSW), granting then a license to JWM in order for them to access JWM projects.

Only Jira Service Management project information is available through the customer portal.
