How to create multi project board across jira software and jira work management projects

Hi I need some help or advise on setting up a multi project board. my jira has 2 software projects and 2 jira work management projects. and when I try to create a board across these 4 projects, i am not able to select all of these four. I have jira adminstrator role. any advise on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Vamshidhar Gangu and welcome to the Community!

I don't know how you are trying to add projects to the board, but it should be possible to create a filter across your projects first and then use that as a source for your board.

Step by step:

1. Navigate to Filters > View all issues
2. Create a search to fetch all issues across your projects. In JQL: Project in (ProjectA, ProjectB, ProjectC, ProjectD) ORDER BY Rank
3. Save that search, e.g. as Filter for Kanban Board
4. Navigate to one of your Jira Software Projects and from the left hand side under the Boards section select Create Board
5. Give your board a name, select your filter as the source and set your JSW project as the board location.
