Hello, Since Friday it seems we're encountering an issue on our Jira board. We're not able to move a task to a sub-task With the ID of the parent issue -> no suggestion the issue does not appears (only old issue already closed) With the link of the parent issue -> Error message sayin it does not exist Are we the only one to fce this issue ? We used to move tickets every day I don't understand what I am missing here to make it work Thanks

Merci beaucoup @Gauthier Docq je me doutais hier qu'il y avait bien une spécificité au niveau du type de projet, sur vos captures j'avais juste comparé que nous étions tous les deux bien sur un Software project. Néanmoins les indications que vous m'avez envoyé sont déjà les étapes que j'ai faite c'est après le move justement que le message d'erreur apparait quand on utilise directement l'URL du ticket. Je vais ouvrir un ticket chez Jira, car je ne rencontre ce problème que depuis vendredi j'ai l'habitude d'utiliser la fonctionnalité tous les jours et avant vendredi je n'ai jamais rencontré le soucis. Bonjour @Oceane Royer Je parlais en effet des paramètres de votre projet Jira Software. Cependant, vous n'avez pas accès à la vue l'onglet summary car votre projet a été créé en Team-managed. C'est une option qui vous est proposée à la création de votre projet Jira Software. Vous pouvez vérifier à tout moment dans le coin inférieur gauche de votre écran sur quel type de projet vous êtes en train de naviguer. Contrairement aux projets company-managed, les projets team-managed comportent des fonctionnalités plus simplifiées et configurable projets par projets. Si vous souhaitez continuer à travailler sur ce même type de projets, ne considérez donc pas ce que je vous ai indiqué précédemment par rapport aux différents schemes qui, eux, sont appliqués dans les projets company-managed. Je suis personnellement moins habitué aux projets de type team-managed car ils sont beaucoup moins utilisés, mais il me semble que vous pouvez procéder comme ceci : Dans project settings, cliquez sur issue types Vous devriez être en mesure de vérifier si les tickets de type subtasks sont disponibles dans votre projet. Si c'est le cas, vous devriez avoir la possibilité de convertir votre issue type via l'option Move disponible en cliquant sur les (...) en haut à droite de la vue de votre ticket. Il est également important de noter que vous ne pouvez pas convertir une task en subtask si cette dernière possède elle-même des subtasks. Chaque subtask concernée devra alors être bougée ou supprimée en amont de l'opération de conversion. En espérant que cette résolution vous permette de solutionner votre problème. Hello @Oceane Royer,

Can you view the ticket you are looking for in the "search issues" section (in the main navigation bar > filters > all issues) ?

You may not have the right permission/security level to access this ticket if you are not able to access it from there.

12524 -> should be the parent

12666 -> should be the sub-task of 12524

What is weird is that I am the admin on the project and it seems there is no restriction on both tickets

I modified the reporter to be me, but still nothing changes, I did move in the past tickets I did not created myself.

Where would I've been able to see those ticket imply restrictions ?

@Oceane RoyerI don't think that typing the number of the key in the search bar will show you the issue. Try this JQL search instead :

key = OTTO-12524

Anyway, It seems that the two last screenshots show that you can access the tickets (you will be able to confirm it by applying the JQL search above).

The problem may be linked to the move operation. Try to go to your ticket's view and click on the issue type icon to change it :

If you have the right permissions (browse project permission + move ticket permission -> You should have them by default by having the project administrator role). You should be able to perform the operation.

@Gauthier Docq with JQL i'm able to see both issue in the issues pannel.

From the issue itself the subtask does not appear, I check in the project settings and the issue type exist and has no restriction...

I can open an issue to Jira cause it never happened before
