How to create new Sprint when a new Release created?

Question

Hi, I know I can trigger a new release creation by adding a new FixVersion value to a ticket.

I would like to create a new Sprint now, when a new release created (and move tickets later into this Sprint when its FixVersion field updated with the same value)

Is there a simple way to automate this? I found a way with Web request (calling POST sprint of JIRA Rest API) and custom data with JSON only - but the Authorization data is visible for anyone in this case (and I do not want to share my authorization data with other admins)

Hi Craig, thank you, but this explains only how to get the name of active sprint. In my case, I would like to _create_ a sprint when a new release (first FixVersion value) created
