since the new interface on jira, i can't find the print option. how do i find this option? thank you

I assume you're referring to the ability to print issue cards.

This feature has been recently removed on the board and backlog view as stated here.

For a single issue, @Mayuresh Kamble already provided the solution.

The Print option is available in issue detail view, Just click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Print option.
