CSV import - Status and Comments mapping fields do not exist on Jira side

Hi Experts, 

I'm trying to import issues from a CSV file into my project. I exported these issues from the same project I want to import to. When it comes to the field mapping I cannot find the "Status" field on the Jira side. On the other hand, when I went to our sandbox and validated the files I could easily choose this field. 

While writing this question, I got an option of Status for my first csv file, but the the second file I don't have an option to choose the Status mapping field.

Can you explain to me why it is on and off? 

Another question - how it is possible to import comments from the CSV? I do not have this field available for mapping.

How are you accessing the import function?

Are you accessing it from Project > View All Issues?

Or are you accessing it from Systems Settings > External System Import?
