Disable/hide "add people" button

Question

Hello,

how can I disable/hide the "add people" button in the project board view. The only person inviting people is the site admin, who can do that through the project settings.

Another question: Why does the permission helper only work with team-based projects? I cannot select issues from company-managed projects and since the helper wont work if you dont select an issue, it's basically useless to me.

You can't hide that option as far as I know - but you can limit what options users have to invite others. You'll need to be an Org Admin to change these settings.

* If it is allowing a user to add/invite users from Google, Slack, etc - to deactivate this...* Go to https://admin.atlassian.com/
* Select Settings from the top navigation bar
* Next, select Contacts from the left-hand menu
* Deactivate the option listed

* You can also customise user access settings, include invite options, here...* Go to https://admin.atlassian.com/
* Select Products from the top navigation bar
* Next, select User access settings from the left-hand menu
* Update information accordingly

In relation to the Permissions Helper, it should work with Company-managed Projects - I just tested it and it worked for me. Can I confirm you're accessing it based on the instructions on this help page?

Permission Helper

The Permission Helper can help you figure out why a user can or can't see a certain issue.

* Choose  > System.

* Click Admin Helper > Permission Helper.

* Enter the name of the user whose permissions you want to check. Leave this blank for anonymous users.

* Enter the issue key you want to look into. For example, the issue that the user cannot see.

* Select the permission that you want to check for the user.

* Click Submit.
