How to map a boolean Asset field to "Ja/Nein" values from Jira?

I have a "Ja", "Nein" select field in a JSM project.

I want to store that information in a boolean Asset field (True / false)

Question is: how can I do that? How can I convert the "Ja" value coming from Jira to a "True" value in the asset attribute?

I think the easiest solution is to create an 'if/then' condition in your automation rule on the "issue.customfield_10273"

If "issue.customfield_10273" = Yes

Then Use the "Create Variable" action to create a new Smart value and fill it with "True"

Else Use the "Create Variable" action to create a new Smart value and fill it with "False"

You can then use this smart value in your "Create Object" action to set the object boolean attribute.

I'm not sure what value you need to use to set the boolean attribute (false/true or 0/1)

The issue triggers an automation rule that performs some action on an asset object ?

good question - looks like I skipped some details :-)

I use an automation that creates an Asset Object with "Create Object".

In there I set the attributes with smart variables.

Let's say that "baustart_erfolgt" is a boolean attribute in the Asset Object and {{issue.customfield_10273}} is the Ja/Nein Value from the JSM form.

When I just assign {{issue.customfield_10273}} to "baustart_erfolgt" I am not getting "True / false"

What I need is something like this:

if {{issue.customfield_10273}} Ja Then True

if {{issue.customfield_10273}} Nein Then False

Makes sense?
