Permission to edit releases

Question

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a security role for editing releases? There are users that preferably should be able to edit releases without having the admin role. Is this possible?

I can see that this issue has been discussed a coupple of years ago, but has a security role like this now been created?

There's no update on the issue, and users are still required to be able to administer a project to manage versions/releases. Are you aware of the public issue that you can vote on? -> JRACLOUD-34015 - Separate Project permissions for Version Management

in order to manage release versions for a given project, the user must at least have project admin permissions. There is an open suggestion for this, and you may wish to watch/vote - JRACLOUD-34015 Separate Project permissions for Version Management
