Basically I want to send an email if it was raised internally in JSM but not if its raised externally via the Portal.
Is there an If statement field I can use for reported by/created by?

Maybe you can use some of these JQL queries:
request-channel-type = emailrequest-channel-type = jira request-channel-type = portalrequest-channel-type = api
Does it make sense?
