Using Confluence as a Knowledge Based

Question

Hello, I would like to make some enquire. I'm trying to get myself started on using Atlassian; Confluence - Cloud as part of my knowledge base. However - as I am intending to make these information public, available in the public domain through my corporate website.

I'm facing the trouble/problem of interfacing the information into my corporate website.

I am not sure if this is the correct way of using confluence as a knowledge base - but it does seem like it is suppose to work in this manner.

Please bear this in mind - that not all user who is going to access this knowledge base information is going to plan to have an confluence account.

I'm not sure, the docs probably won't help because my answers were just a very short version.

What are you seeing on the global and space settings?

Yes, that's is what I thought Atlassian - Confluence could do, or suppose to do. Pretty straightforward and nothing to fancy. do you know if there are any documentation or articles to illustrate the above steps that you've mentioned? I've tried to navigate myself on the platform - but it does seems to be working for me.

Or that I'm getting lost on the platform?

Ok, for the first point, just make Confluence part of your website, so they can go directly to the pages they need, or create something in your site that can search Confluence.

On the anonymous side, yes, you need to do two things

* Go into the global permissions and enable anonymous access to the system
* Go to each space you want to make public and add anonymous access to the permissions (this is off by default, and although you can enable it without the global setting, it won't work without the global permission)
