closing test execution when all tests have passed

Hi,

 

I am using Xray/JIRA on cloud, and I would like JIRA to close Xray test executions, after all its relevant test cases have passed. i have searched the JIRA automation but couldn't find a suited solution. Can anyone help me achieve that, if possible at all?

If you want Jira to end the test execution, not XRay itself, you are going to have to build custom automation rules that make calls to the REST API of XRay.

Start by Googling 'Jira automation call REST API' to start learning how to do that sort of thing.

Then, you'll need to read the documentation of XRay's REST API to learn what endpoints, if any, can end a test execution and how to format a request to that endpoint
