Post function in create issue transition not working

I am setting a post fucntion onj the create issue transition to copy the value of one field to be the assignee field. This works on all other transitions, however on this transition it leaves the issue unassigned. I have tried moving the post function to the bottom but this hasn't rectified the problem.

If I move it to be the function after create issue it still says unassigned.
