Unable to create Dashboard and share with members or groups. I have global permissions to share filters and dashboards
Error Message - You do not have permission to share. All shares are invalid.
Hello @Ankush Gautam
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Are you able to create the dashboard with no shares?
How do you know you have the global permission to share filters and dashboards? Global permissions are allocated to user groups. How have you confirmed that you are a member of a group that has been granted that permission?
Hi @Ankush Gautam
Welcome to the community!
If you're having issues with native sharing functionalities and need to solve your pain ASAP, please know that in the Atlassian Marketplace there are apps that simplify dashboard sharing.
One of these apps is Dashboard Hub for Jira – Custom Charts & Share Reports , which is developed by my company and which I recommend to you in case of trying an app
Dashboard Hub empowers users to create insightful dashboards and share them in seconds with password-protected links, here is a shared dashboard example.
Hope it helps,
Ivan
i am part of the group that has global permissions for filters and shared
That shows us the groups that have the permission.
Can you now show us the groups to which you belong, as listed in your user account information, to verify that list includes at least one of the mentioned groups?
