Content of description field is moved to another field after creating the issue

Hi everybody,

here the steps to my problem:

1. we create tasks or improvements in a special jira-project

2. we write text in the field "Description"

3. we click "create"

4. The content of the description field is moved to an individual text field which maybe was created of somebody in the past. The real description field appears empty. If I remove the individual field, the content description field content is completely gone

 Can somebody help me to find out, in which part of our project configuration the mistake might be?

Hi @Janina ,

I think there are 2 things may cause this problem:

1. Workflow post-function -> check your issue workflow at create transition

2. Automation 

However, this logic is very strange. Can you capture your problem?
