Adding image to customer notifications

Hi All,

I am trying to add an image into a customer notification but I'm getting an error of "No usable issue is stored in context, unable to resolve filename"

In the screenshot, I have just used one of Google's doodle logos to test but this is not working.

I am not looking to make use of the customisable template for this as it is already in use.

Any advice on how to get the image to present would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Hi, this is old, but I was messing with this functionality and wanted to comment here for posterity and such, that it is possible to change the customer notifications templates, to include images and change lay-out. The screenshots from @Simon.Francis and @Jacob Smith above show are from the edit screen of individual customer notifications, not the template of these.

The individual customer notifications, e.g. "Customer invited", "Request created", etc. are not the templates section, and will not offer the view with HTML/CSS/Plain text options to change the style of all the customer notifications (banner/logo/button/link).

To do that, go to Project settings > Notifications > Customer notifications > and click the button "Edit templates".

I'm still running into an issue when I use base64 encoded images that do show correctly when editing the templates, but do not show in the email. This used to work, but maybe Atlassian removed support, I'm not sure?

I'm having the same issue. I want to add an image banner to my notifications, and a cleaner "View issue" button.

Our customers are very wary of Phishing, and sometime these vanilla emails set off their spider sense!!

I assume someone else must have resolved this already??

Can you advise where in this automation I can edit the HTML as you can in the templates, as I don't appear to have the option within here?
