I have enabled an automation, when a ticket is moved from triage to inprogress and priority is medium automatically due date is updated to some date(next 5 days from that date). It's working fine

But when ticket reopens and ticket again moves from triage to inprogress, again the automation is triggering and changing the du date.

How to avoid it?

Automation should run only once

Hi @Rahul,

Here's the solution that comes to my mind. Try to set a custom field in this rule that can be checked during the next rule executions. Look at this:

In this rule I've set the field Hidden text field (you can use any field created in your Jira, but it's better to use a hidden one so not to confuse users with its values) and also added a condition to check this field. This condition is required not to run the rule again if it's already been executed on an issue.
