Selecting part of the text in edit mode bugged

Hello,

When in edit mode and selecting text with mouse, it auto-selects a bigger part of the document or even the whole document i.e. I select a sentence and it auto-selects the whole expand section. This is very frustrating, is anyone facing the same issue? Please advice on how to fix this bug.

Hi @Andrea Mappoura and welcome to the community,

I dont have this kind of problem on my instance. On edit mode, I select a word on the expand macro, and only this word is selected. A video/gif of your confluence's behaviour would be great to understand what's going on.

Just adding here that I've been facing the exact same issue since yesterday when selecting any type of text in Jira issues. I do think something is going on.

I just started having this issue too this week where I try to highlight a single line to edit and it's expanding outside of my selection. It's making me look like an idiot when I'm sharing my screen during meetings and causing it to take way longer to make simple text updates.
