Automate adding parent

Question

Is it possible to automate adding a parent when an issue is created? I'm creating a Slack channel for UX Design requests so people can create new Jira stories from Slack. I'm trying to have Jira automate adding those stories to an epic, but I'm not seeing any way to do that, or finding anything online..

You should be able to hardcode the epic link then!

Set up your automation rule based on "Issue created" and then add a condition to catch the tickets coming from your slack channel.
