Trying to confirm an email update with jira email verification. Upon providing the password, user receives 403 cloudfront error.

Try login verify in incognito or clear your browser cache. It still running into the issue, would check with admin to resend another verification e-mail and try again.
If still an issue after this, then would submit a ticket with Atlassian support.
