Import bugs from another program

I am moving to Jira, is there a way to import a list of my current bugs into Jira in bulk?

Welcome to the community !!

Yes. You can import data from different application to Jira.

If there is already an existing jira project, export the bugs from another application/tool into csv file first and then import to jira.

To import, go to admin settings --> system --> External System Import --> CSV --> upload the required file, click on Advanced and select the file delimiter. 
In next page, select required project and field mappings.

Please note:

* Try import in test instance or test project first and with few rows. 
* Each CSV file must possess a heading row with a Summary column. 
* Map columns from csv file to required fields in Jira.
* If there is no project in jira, first create a required project and then do the Import.
