How to get a list of issues and their worklog filtered by user and date period from/to using RestAPI

Hello,

I need to prepare an integration for other system. I have a user/project/date from/date end data. The idea is to get the worklogs data from all of the issue to get the sum of all worklogs in this period.

1. What is the best ways to get the list of user task in this period?

2. After getting the list is it better to run a Issue worklog API on each issue, or is there a better practice in this business task?

Thanks for you answer.

The idea is to get all spend hours of user in the date range (from/end).

So we can form an invoice for this spend hours.

1. We have user, project, date range data -> send request to jira REST API. And the result is total spend amount of hours spent by this user on this project.

What data exactly do you need to get with worklogs?

For example, you can use:

rest/api/3/worklog/updated?expand=properties

Please find below the example of the worklog with expanded properties:
