Good afternoon.We have several projects/products in Jira.The backlogs of these projects/products are different.But the releases for these products are common and functionally dependent.How can I set up a common release for different projects in Jira?
What we did was go into each project and set up an identically named release (i.e. "Feature_Release_20230828". The issues from the individual products are added to the individual releases, but we created a dashboard that has a filter that brings ALL releases by that same name into a single view and we 'run' the release from that dashboard. Each project is still required to keep their own release updated, but the overall view and management can be done with the dashboard. I'd love to know a better way, but this is what we found that works...
