Update free product subdomain

Question

I have a free account. I changed my company name recently, and now I want to update it the subdomain so it doesn't confuse my team with the old name. I've changed it once before on this free account. But now I can't seem to change it again.

I'm getting conflicting information in the community about who can change and when and how. I know I won't be changing this again as this is the committed business name.

You can check if you can change one of your currently Free products to a trial for a Standard plan to see if that enables the site URL change. Then revert back to the Free subscription.

@Trudy P Claspill Thank you, this is helpful. It's totally possible I was on a trail, I really have no idea it was so long ago. I only have free accounts at this point so it seems I'm out of luck for now, unless I want to pay for it.

Perhaps one of your products was on a Standard plan, or you had a trial of a Standard plan in affect when you previously changed the site URL.
