Jira Forms Sub Drop Down

Nate Dickinson

Can Jira Forms make a sub selection menu appear when an option is selected? So when the first menu item is selected I want to see 4 related items, when the second is selected I want to see 3 related items, etc., etc.

Hi @Nate Dickinson

I don't believe so, Forms does have conditional sections though, which allows you to show a field based on another field's option selection.

You can see how this works on these two help pages:

• https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/add-a-conditional-field-to-your-project-using-forms-1188419353.html

But that is displaying an entire field, rather than specific field options.

You could also try an App from the Marketplace, such as...

• Extension for Jira Service Management
• Dynamic Forms for Jira
• Dynamic Custom Fields for Jira

...or another App from the Marketplace, to see if these can help provide the functionality you need
