How can I create a dashboard that displays Releases (release field being a custom field)?

In our Jira project, we use the Version field for internal versioning and we have created a custom field: Releases.

What I need is a dashboard/screen where I can see all the active releases and when I select a release, to display all the tasks associated to it.

Almost like a repeat of the Releases Hub for official versioning?

You could...

• Use a gadget to summarise the "releases" list, like a Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget
• List the issues per release in multiple Filter Results gadgets
