How can keep Master request in one status and trasition cloned tickets to another status

I have created an automation to have a Master request and clone from it tickets (at creation point), the clones are based on specific field.

How, after the ticket is created, can I keep Master request in one status and Clones to transition to the other status at the same time?

Can I clarify...

• You have an Automation rule, which clones the initial issue into multiple others
• You then want to transition the clones to other statuses

...is this correct?

If yes, could you...

• Give us more information about the current rule - eg. what field is relevant to the cloning? A screenshot of each part of the rule would be very beneficial here  
• Provide some specifics about what statuses the cloned issues will transition to?
• Confirm the cloned issues have a workflow which allows them to transition to the target statuses directly?
