How can I create link issue from a comment with link issue

Ana Vitória de Paula Rothebarth

I would like if I do a comment with link issue automatic create a link issue at the task.

I've seen a solution for the opposite flow.

I tried:

Issue commented

Advanced compare condition: {{comment}} contains {{link.issue}}

Link issues - Here, there is no option to link issue comment

Hello @Ana Vitória de Paula Rothebarth

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you please provide screen images of the rule you created, and the details of each step?

And I didn't understand why [A-Z] +-\d+ does make sense to resolve the automation

Each time a rule executes an entry is added to the Audit Log for the rule. You can expand an entry to see details about the execution of the rule.

The details will tell you the issue that triggered the rule, if conditions did or did not match, and if detectable errors occurred.

Can you show us the details from the Audit Log for the execution of the rule?
