Inserting web link into a checklist

I'm using automation to insert a checklist text when an issue is transitioned.

Is there a way to insert a link into a checklist word?

For instance, * [open] "Send "Welcome!" email" - "Welcome" would be a link taking you to the google doc template.

Which checklist addon are you using from the marketplace? Knowing that may help the community to offer suggestions.

Or...do you mean inserting a checklist in a text field using the markup syntax?
