Where to write code to show/hide fields and how to add more roles in Jira Service Management

I have a Jira Service Management ITSM standard plan
Can you suggest me, from which plan we will get access for writing code and to more roles to the existing.

Else, do we need to install any plugin's or applications

Hi Ibrahim,

You don't write code in Jire generally unless you create your own pluign or use a plugin like scriptrunner that allows you to write some code.

But even with a plugin you won't be able to hide a field.
You can only hide fields for certain projects or issues types by using a field configuration screen or by not placing them on the screens at all.

For the roles question: you can create as many roles as you want via the Jira administration. Look for project roles under security. You need to be a global administrator for that.
The roles are available in all Jira projects. You can define permissions for each role in the permission scheme that your projects uses.
