Restrict specific user/s from opening Story/Task

Hello,

I am trying a few ideas on how can I restrict a group of users/Single user from opening Story/task while I still want them to open bugs.
I was thinking on Automation, but nothing was making sense.
I can see the validator option on Create issue, but this is to allow users to create, I dont find the right way. My dream is that user A will click on create and will see Bugs only.
Now, If I need to create specific group or a Role, then to restrict it , can you suggest how to do those steps?
I can say that my all issues types are manage separately, each one have his own workflow, thanks for the support.

I'm sorry, but there is no straightforward solution to achieve this in Jira. While there are workarounds available on Jira Server using certain apps, the options are limited and not as seamless in Jira Cloud.

You can try to implement variant with validator:
Add a validator to the "create" transition that checks certain conditions, such as whether the person initiating the creation is in a specific group. If the condition fails, the validation will prevent the issue from being created. However, it's important to note that this method can be cumbersome and may frustrate users who have already entered substantial data, only to be informed afterwards that they are unable to proceed.

There is a ticket in Atlassian backlog, but when it will be made, it's unknown.
