how to set assignee field when i just got user full name instead of username

Hi,

I got a csv file which contains user's full name,not user's username.Since import issues from csv file must assign username to assignee field,Is there a way for me to convert fullname into username?

Hi Lin,

You would need to look that up for each user in Jira and update your CSV file accordingly. Jira will not be able to make that translation on import of the file.

Hello, I would recommend to use email address of the user in the .csv file as this will avoid any mapping issues during .csv file import.
