Setting custom email on Jira deletes all previous emails

We have set up a custom email on Jira and now my previous emails is completely removed from outlook.

Why would this be?

Hello, have you added your custom email to Jira cloud (as incoming email) ?, to create issues on Jira cloud, but sending email to this custom email ? Or this is for notification email.
